Or call (937) 509-2459You already knew.
Probably for a while now. Since the last bad night, or the last conversation you can't take back.
Knowing isn't the hard part. The hard part is that in a county this size, getting help feels like an announcement.
"Everyone will know."
Two things stop people here. What it costs, and who finds out.
So let's do both right now, before you call anybody.
The first question
What it costs. Out loud.
You shouldn't have to call a stranger to find out what an hour costs. Tap whichever one is you.
Mostinsurance companies accepted
CareSource, Molina, UnitedHealthcare, VA insurance and Medicare are among them. That is not the whole list.
One phone call checks yours before you book a thing. Nobody can tell you what your plan pays without looking at it, so we look at it.
Have your card handy. It takes about a minute.
$65per hour, individual counseling
The first visit is the assessment and runs $125. It's the longer intake session where we get the whole picture instead of a piece of it. After that, it's $65 an hour.
Paying yourself: cash, Venmo, PayPal or Square.
$32.50per hour, group counseling
Same counselor, lower cost. Some people start here because it's easier than sitting one on one.
We aren't running a group at the moment. Say you want one and we'll tell you when the next starts.
All of it, in one place

Those are the self-pay prices. If you're using insurance, your cost is whatever your plan sets, which is usually less and sometimes nothing. We take CareSource, Molina, UnitedHealthcare, VA insurance and Medicare among others. Call and we'll check yours.
Who you'd be sitting with
Both licenses. One room.
M.Ed., LPCC, LICDC
"People choose me because I don't just see a diagnosis. I see the person behind it."
"I believe healing begins when people feel heard, understood, respected, and safe enough to be honest about what they are going through. As a dual-licensed counselor in mental health and substance use, I bring both professional knowledge and real-world understanding to the counseling relationship."
"I meet people where they are without judgment and help them understand that their past does not have to determine their future. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, faith-sensitive when desired, and focused on practical tools that can help people create meaningful change."
"Most importantly, I believe people can recover, people can heal, and people can change, even when they have been told otherwise."
In plain terms: we hold two licences and both are independent, one for the mental health side and one for the addiction side. Both, in the same room, in the same hour.
Most people carrying both get sent back and forth between two providers who never talk to each other, and you tell the whole story twice. Here you tell it once.
The approach is person centered, using cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. That last one is built for people who aren't sure they want to change yet.

Some of it can be done from home
Not every session and not every situation, so ask when you call which parts can be done remotely. If the thing stopping you is being seen walking into an office on North High Street, say that out loud. It's a normal question here.
Before you get here
This is what you'd walk into.
Not a waiting room full of people. A corner, two chairs, and a door.
-
Where you wait. Two chairs, a plant, and a stairwell corner rather than a room full of people. -
Coffee, water, and a table if you get there early. -
The common area, with windows onto North High Street. -
The larger room, used for meetings and groups.

Tell her you want a call
Four fields on this page, two of them optional. Or call and skip the form. We do our best to respond within 24 hours.
The first visit is the assessment
A longer intake session, formally a biopsychosocial assessment, where we get the whole picture rather than a piece of it. $125. Bring your ID and your insurance card.
Then it is just the hour
$65 an hour for individual counseling, or your insurance copay. Some sessions can be done from home. Ask which.
Asked before, by people like you
The questions nobody wants to ask out loud.
How much does it cost?
A first-visit assessment is $125. Individual counseling after that is $65 an hour. Group counseling is $32.50. If you are using insurance, your cost is whatever your plan sets, so call and we will check your coverage before you book anything.
Do you take my insurance?
We take CareSource, Molina, UnitedHealthcare, VA insurance and Medicare, and that is not the whole list. Which plans and what they cover changes, so the honest answer is one phone call with your card in your hand. Nobody can promise what your plan will pay before they look at it.
What if I do not have insurance?
You can pay yourself. Cash, Venmo, PayPal or Square, at $65 an hour for individual counseling. The prices are on this page so you do not have to call a stranger to find out what an hour costs.
Can I do this from home?
Some of it, yes. Not every session and not every situation, so ask when you call which parts can be done remotely. If being seen walking into an office in a county this size is the thing stopping you, say so. It is a normal question here.
Who would I actually be seeing?
Angela Nlemchi. We hold two independent licences, one for mental health and one for addiction, so if you are carrying both you tell the story once instead of twice to two providers who never speak to each other.
Is what I say private?
Confidentiality is a priority. We are obligated to report it if you tell us you want to harm yourself or someone else. The full details are in the paperwork you sign at your first visit, and we will go through it with you.
What happens at the first appointment?
It is longer than a normal session. We ask about your history, what is going on now, and what you want to be different. Bring your ID and your insurance card. You do not have to have it figured out before you get there.
What are your hours?
Appointments 9 to 6. Call for current availability. Parking can be limited on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but there is parking in front of the building and around back.
I am not sure I want to change yet.
That is a normal place to start and it is not a reason to stay out. Our approach uses motivational interviewing, which was built for exactly that, and we meet people where they are without judgment.
On privacy, in her words
"Confidentiality is a priority. Keep in mind that if you are feeling like you want to harm yourself or others we are obligated to report that to the proper authorities."
The full details are in the paperwork you sign at the first visit, and we go through it with you.
You don't have to fix your life today.
You have to get up. Then you have to make one call. That's the whole list.
Thanks!
We got your request. We'll do our best to respond within 24 hours. Need to speak sooner? Call us at (937) 509-2459.
